JCowens is a 1992 Dean's List Graduate of The Art Institutes International in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he received a business degree in audio and visual communications. 

Upon his graduation, JC immediately began performing freelance online design and maintanence for various individuals, entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profits, bringing over 13 years personal experience in the field.
